The concert will begin at 2:00 pm and will finish around 3:15 pm. We will have a full orchestra accompaniment on several pieces and an artist will be on stage painting a Christmas canvas throughout the concert that will be auctioned after the concert through an online bidding system. This is truly a special event and we hope you will help us invite everyone you know so they can receive a special Christmas blessing from the CoroRio students. In fact, a couple of tickets might be perfect Christmas gift for a neighbor or elderly couple who might not otherwise get an opportunity to experience something like this. You can help us by sharing about the concert on social media and through email, text, and word of mouth!
For the Christmas with CoroRio concert, there is a general admission cost of $7. These will be for limited floor seating on the outer sections of the auditorium and the full balcony. Reserved seating is available in the center rear sections for $10 and priority seating is available in the center front sections for $15. All students are given 2 complimentary general admission tickets as part of their tuition (see below for instructions.) Please purchase tickets in advance if at all possible to help cut down on long lines the day of the concert (see incentives for advance purchase below). These will be available through a link HERE soon- and also on the CoroRio website and our Facebook event page.
COMP TICKETS: Each singer has the opportunity to claim two (2) comp. tickets in advance. These are general admission tickets. Simply use the link above (will be posted soon) and enter the password cororio2018 to reveal the complimentary ticket option. We will not be able to give you comp tickets at the door- these must be claimed in advance through the website. You can gift these to a friend or use them for your family!
NOTE: You do not have to print your tickets- you can simply show the confirmation email on your mobile device if you’d like.
NOTE ON SELECTING PRIORITY AND RESERVED SEATS: Please note that you do not have to accept the seats the computer initially chooses for you when purchasing. There is a button you can click at the bottom of the seating chart labeled “Let Me Choose My Own Seats”. Then you simply unclick the seats the computer assigned and re-click the seats that you would like. In case it matters to you, as you are looking at the choir loft, Arroyo is to the left, Rio/Fuente are center, MRC is to the right, and Nino and Corriente will be on the center steps. The artist will be on the right of the stage.
Advance Purchase Incentive: We will not begin selling tickets at the door until 1:30 pm- the same time the doors open for the concert. This will allow those who have purchased tickets in advance the opportunity to enter the hall first. Please help us by sharing this information with as many people as possible.
General admission seating will start at 1:30 pm and will be the outer sections of the main floor and the entire balcony. Please encourage your friends and family NOT to try and sneak in early to put coats down and save seats. That makes it uncomfortable for us because we want to be fair and allow everyone the same opportunities! The doors will be closed to the public until 1:30 pm. Reserved and Priority seating will be in the center sections and are reserved by row and seat number so you don’t have to worry about rushing to save your seat! These usually fill up quickly, so purchase early to ensure your entire party can sit together.
