The Board of Directors of the MidSouth Music Institute is seeking an individual to lead the organization beginning in January 2027. Salary positions available include:

This artistic position works in tandem with the Executive Director of MMI, the Board of Directors of MMI, conducts an ensemble, and oversees the artistic positions.

The interview process will proceed in at least three rounds or more as determined necessary by the Board of Directors: 

1. Initial virtual interview with the hiring committee over Zoom
2. In person interview with the hiring committee
3. In person rehearsal audition with three of our CoroRio choirs - CoroCorriente, CoroRio, and the Mississippi River Chorale

For the in person rehearsal audition, applicants will be given a 20 minute segment of rehearsal to plan and lead. All interview questions and rehearsal expectations will be communicated to applicants a week ahead of the interview.
