Concert Start Time: 4:30 pm, (approx. 1 hr 15 min.)

Rain Plan: There is a pavilion right next to The Barn restaurant that we will be able to use in case of rain.  Social distancing will be more difficult in this scenario, so families may want to bring umbrellas to be able to spread out around the pavilion.  We will send a Remind 101 message around lunch on Saturday with an update on final location.

Concert Attire: CoroRio/ MRC T-shirts- will be distributed at sound check on Saturday.

Admission: We realize that many are struggling due to COVID-19 and may not have extra financial means at this time.  That, combined with the fact that we believe in the healing power of music and that people need to experience live music more now than ever, has led us to offer free admission for this concert.  We will accept and encourage donations if you do have the means to help!  Usually concert tickets range from $5-$10 (or $20 for priority seating). We have set up some nice gift levels for those who contribute- including a dinner discount ticket for The Barn, free t-shirts, and a chance to win one of Mr. Norris’ Epoxy River Charcuterie Boards (valued at $165).  Check out all the details on our concert fundraiser page here: Concert Fundraiser Page.

Seating: Audience members should bring lawn chairs and/or blankets to sit on.

Afterglow: Everyone is invited to stay after the concert to eat dinner at The Barn, play on the playground at the Farm, etc.  If you think you will stay to eat, please fill out this quick form to help The Barn prepare for our group:  The Barn Dinner Count **Please note: this is not a reservation!! Filling out the form is not a commitment to stay and eat- we are just trying to get a ballpark number for food ordering.  They have asked us to send what we have on Monday morning (4/19), so your best guess is fine!

Rehearsals Following the Concert: All groups (except Rio and MRC) will have regular rehearsals on April 27th, at normal times at Cornerstone.  We will work to refine our songs in preparation for an indoor recording session on Tuesday, May 4th.  Although we are grateful for the opportunity to have an outdoor concert with a professional sound person, nothing can replace choral singing in a great acoustical space.  We want our students to end the semester with that sound in their ears, and with great recordings to remember this year with.  The recording sessions will be held at Hernando United Methodist Church (1890 Mt. Pleasant Rd) in the Sanctuary. (Rio and MRC will record at HUMC on April 27th.)
