MMI 2028 Spring Tour
Singers with CoroRio Youth Choirs* and the Mississippi River Chorale are invited to attend our Summer Tour to Germany and Austria in March of 2028!
Members of CoroRio Youth Choirs and MRC for the 2027-2028 Season will have the opportunity to learn the music during regularly scheduled rehearsals; minimal time commitments outside of regular rehearsals may be necessary, but will be planned on an as-needed basis. Share with your friends and encourage them to come and join us for the season and for our trip!
*CoroRioYouth Choirs include CoroRio, CoroMarea, CoroViento, and CoroFuente. Singers in 8th grade or younger for the 2027-2028 school year are required to have a parent/chaperone in attendance on the trip.
Quick Facts:
- Our 8 day trip package ($4,360 per person) includes airfare from Memphis, breakfast and dinner daily, sight seeing, and two performances. The cost has the potential to go down with bulk airline pricing and an increased number of performers attending.
- Tour highlights include Neuschwanstein Castle (the castle that Disney is modeled after), The Sound of Music Tour in Vienna, Mozart's house, and three concerts and one informal sing in beautiful cathedrals and castles across Germany and Austria.
- Trip insurance is recommended, but is an additional cost. More information can be found in the brochure linked below.
- Trip dates will be March 4-11, 2028
- All rooms are double rooms - single occupancy rooms are available for additional cost.
- There is no price difference between performer and non-performer
- Deposits of $300 per traveler is due upon registration, but the $500 payment plans begin in May of 2027, giving families plenty of time to prepare financially.
An interest meeting will be held at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church at 7:00PM in the sanctuary for parents and adult travelers on Thursday, October 15, 2026 at 7:00PM in the Sanctuary.
