CoroRio has been invited to sing on a concert October 2nd at 7:00 pm, at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church (700 Poplar Ave, Memphis) with Memphis ChoralArts and the Mississippi River Chorale. We will sing “Endless Song” by J. Reese Norris and “Heaven Unfolding” by Andrea Ramsey.
Please arrive at St. Mary’s by 5:40 pm in concert attire. (Black pants, black shirt 3/4 sleeve or longer, black shoes.) We will have your teal scarves ready for you, which you will sign out to keep for the year. Due to the early call time and all the extra traffic with the Trump rally, we decided that meeting in a large group for dinner is probably not a good idea this time around. It is extremely important that everyone be there on time. We only have 15 minutes to get set up on the risers and run our two songs.
***Don’t forget about the Trump Rally going on at the Landers Center that will likely have traffic backed up on I-55. Consider using the Waze app (or something like it) to estimate the time you will need or help you plan another route.
The concert is free, with donations accepted, and should last about an hour and a half.
