The Gala is a special fundraiser for the enter MidSouth Music Institute that is meant to help support future growth of the program to include additional programs (we are hoping to add guitar classes, drumming circles, toddler and preschool music classes, senior citizen classes, etc.) and our own facility. The event begins with a brief concert of Christmas music by MRC and Ictus (our adult choirs), followed by a full course dinner catered by John Woods (one of DeSoto county’s premiere caterers), caberet style performances by our own Ms. Tanner, the Norri, and Lauren Moscato, dancing, silent auction and wine pull. It’s a wonderful opportunity to start the holiday season off with a fun night out with group of family members or friends from work while also sharing the vision and mission of CoroRio and the MidSouth Music Institute with people who are unfamiliar with our organization. If you are unable to attend but would like to help support CoroRio in another tangible way, we are still in need of donated mid to upper range bottles of wine for our wine pull and $50-$100 giftcards to downtown Memphis restaurants that can be paired with tickets to the Symphony for the silent auction.
