INFORMATION:
Who: Arroyo, Rio, Fuente
Location: Harding Academy – 1100 Cherry Road/Memphis
Date/time: 9/19 – arrive by 5:15 pm for 5:30 pm rehearsal. Concert begins at 7PM and we estimate it will end at 8:15PM.
CoroRio Students also in a school choir: students in CoroRio are being asked to travel “on their own” and to arrive at 5:15PM for a 5:30PM rehearsal, which is earlier than the schools are arriving. They will not be riding with the high school groups. They will be asked to wear their CoroRio attire (not school choir attire) and they will sit apart of their high school groups (toward the front of the auditorium) in order to access the stage. All of the school choir directors are aware, and on board with this arrangement.
Attire: CoroRio concert attire is all black (ladies 3/4 sleeves or longer, men collared black shirt, black pants, black socks/shoes) with a teal CoroRio scarf or tie that we will hand out at rehearsal on 9/17.
Music: memorization of the music will be helpful since the conductor will be on the stage (a fairly good distance from the balcony), BUT with this being so close to the beginning of the year, we understand if complete memory is not possible.
