What: Desoto County Choral Festival at Brown Missionary Baptist Church (7200 Swinnea Road, Southaven): An opportunity for all the middle and high school choirs in DeSoto County to come together and share performances.
Who: Corriente, Arroyo, Rio, Fuente, MRC (and middle/high school choirs from Desoto County)
When: Tuesday, February 8th, Meet at 5:45 pm in the Choir Room at Brown to run Tuba. At 6:00 pm, we will take the stage to perform. Corriente and MRC may leave after the performance, or stay to watch the rest of the choirs perform. Arroyo, Rio and Fuente will sit in the front rows to help teach “In Meeting We Are Blessed” to the rest of the choirs. Family members are welcome and may sit in the balcony.
Attire: Concert black with scarves and ties (Corriente, Arroyo, Rio, Fuente we will have teal scarves and ties there for you.
INDIVIDUAL CHOIR NOTES:
Nino will meet at their normal time at Cornerstone (4:15pm-5:15pm)
Corriente will NOT meet at their normal rehearsal time. They will only have this performance for 2/8 (meet in choir room at Brown at 5:45).
Rio will meet in the choir room at 5:20 pm to rehearse Psalm 8 with the violin.
