Emily Nichols has been a licensed Language Arts teacher for 25 years and currently teaches Advanced Placement Literature for NorthStar Academy. She holds a BA in English Writing from Union University and a MA in Professional Counseling from Liberty University.

During her undergraduate years at Union, Emily sang with the Union University Singers and toured multiple locations throughout the US and abroad. Since that time, Emily has enjoyed choral and ensemble singing throughout her life. Most recently, she has been singing alongside her friends these past four years as a member of the Mississippi River Chorale, and is blessed to share her love of choral music with her four daughters who are all singers in the youth choirs of CoroRio.
