Planning to audition for the 2024 Mississippi All State Honor Choirs?

Whether you've auditioned in the past or have never auditioned before, this workshop is for you! Join CoroRio and the University of Mississippi Student ACDA Chapter on Tuesday, August 15th at Cornerstone Church in Southaven from 5-8pm. At this workshop, we will:

• learn audition pieces for your voice part in a collaborative sectional setting where you are encouraged to ask questions and work on vocal technique
• sing audition pieces with other voice parts to gain clarity on how your part fits within the audition piece
• gain insight into how to continue the rehearsal process on your own at home
• receive helpful tips for making your best audition recording

This workshop is free and open to any high school student** who plans to audition for the 2024 Mississippi All State Honor Choirs sponsored by the Mississippi Chapter of the American Choral Directors Association. Complete the registration form below to reserve your spot!

**Middle School students are encouraged to sign up with their local school teachers or their CoroRio director for Junior High Honor Choirs, sponsored by Mississippi Music Educators Association. This workshop will not cover audition music for junior high honor choir auditions.
