Attire for Nov. 3 & 10: Wear solid, Earth Tone color clothing- layers film best (think shirt with sweater, vest, coat, scarf). No graphics or writing, please. See the inspiration collages below to get an idea of what we are going for!
NOVEMBER 10th:
THERE HAVE BEEN A FEW SLIGHT CHANGES SO PLEASE READ:
- Arrive at the hotel as close to 3:30 pm as possible, a few minutes early if you can swing it.
- You must wear a mask.
- The parking garage entrance is located at 118 S Second Street. If you would like to just drop your singer off at the door (we will have a staff member there waiting) you can use the Valet parking entrance to the hotel. We have permission to pull up and drop off there. Look for the vertical HOTEL sign with an arrow, then follow the signs to turn left down the ramp for Valet parking. (You don’t have to valet park- just drop and go). For self-parking, drive straight up the ramp instead of turning left. The first 30 min. are free and then its around $15 for 2 hours after that. You can also look for street parking, or use the Peabody Place parking lot, or any other lot in that area that you prefer.
- Singers will take the lobby elevators to floor S (Skyway) and wait in the foyer there at the top. (You will see the glass doors that lead to the rooftop, but wait to head out there until indicated by a staff member.)
- Parents who want to come to the rooftop should wait in the lobby until we finish filming and then we will send a Remind 101 message around 5pm to let you know when it’s clear to come up and check out the view and/or snap some pics with your singer! We are hoping to film more with the drone, so there won’t be a good place to hide and not be in the shot before then.
- Wear THE SAME earth tone outfit that you did on November 3rd (Last Tues in the field).
NOVEMBER 14th: Rain date for Nov. 7th Music Video Recording / Family Day
NOVEMBER 17th: Video Recording of Rehearsals at Cornerstone, during normal rehearsal time (5:30-6:30 for Arroyo, 6-7pm for Rio/Fuente) Students should wear nice school clothes. ACTORS (soccer, dance, art students) be sure to wear the same clothes as you did for your scene recording. Everyone should bring their folders!!
November 17th is our last official meeting for the semester. We may do something fun in December based on interest and COVID… TBD. The music video will premiere in December, so maybe we can have a premiere watch party! We will officially start back in January.
