We are so excited to officially announce that CoroRio has been invited to participate in the 2018 DCINY National Honor Choir in Carnegie Hall May 22-26, 2018.
Our own Mr. Norris will be the conductor for the treble choir and Mr. Eric Barnum (another awesome composer!) will be the conductor for the mixed choir.
We would like to share all the details about this trip with you on Thursday, May 18th at 7pm in the sanctuary at Hernando United Methodist Church. This trip is OPTIONAL for students in Arroyo, Rio, and Fuente. If we have additional spots available when we return in August, we will open the trip for students in Corriente to go along and observe (with a parent).
Several have asked about the general cost of the trip- it is currently estimated at $1900 for students and $1400 for parents. This includes airfare, 4 night hotel stay, 3 group dinners, a Broadway show, and several sightseeing attractions. More specifics at the meeting. We will need a $200 deposit by June 15th to save your spot- we will start taking deposits after the meeting Thursday night.
