Tuesday, October 12th
Individual headshots and group choir pictures will be taken during rehearsal time for the youth choirs (Nino, Corriente, Arroyo, Rio, Fuente).
Tuesday, October 19th
Group photos (sopranos, altos, tenors, basses, and full choir) will be taken for the Mississippi River Chorale. Make-up headshots for youth choir members who were not present on the 12th will be taken on the 19th as well.
Please come fully dressed in concert attire:
- 3/4 or long sleeved black shirt or blouse. Singers wearing a tie should have a collared dress shirt. No sleeveless or short sleeved shirts please (unless worn with a solid black cardigan or jacket.)
- Black pants (true black jeans (not faded) or leggings if the shirt covers the bottom are acceptable)
- Black shoes (dressier shoes are preferred, solid black is a necessity)
- If your shoes require socks, please be sure they are black
- We will provide teal ties and scarves (see picture above for reference).
NOTE: Even though the headshots will only be waist up, the group picture will be full body, so the entire uniform is necessary.
If you cannot be present on October 12th, we will not be able to include you in the group picture for the program, but you can still have a make-up headshot taken on the following week- October 19th. Just don’t forget to come dressed in your uniform that evening! There will not be another time to get your picture taken other than these two weeks and we do not allow the submission of personal photos for the program book.
Pictures will be used for our annual program book, which will be ready for our first major performance- Christmas with CoroRio, on December 18th and then used for all our events throughout the rest of the season. Be on the lookout for additional information on helping us sell ads for the program as a way to support the MidSouth Music Institute very soon!
