  • Singers should plan to arrive at the church at 12:00 pm in concert attire for a dress rehearsal.
  • The doors for the concert will open at 2:30 pm.

Concert Attire Guidelines:

  • 3/4 or long sleeved black shirt or blouse. Singers wearing a tie should have a collared dress shirt. No sleeveless or short sleeved shirts please (unless worn with a solid black cardigan or jacket.)
  • Black pants (true black jeans (not faded) or leggings if the shirt covers the bottom are acceptable)
  • Black shoes (dressier shoes are preferred, solid black is a necessity)
  • If your shoes require socks, please be sure they are black.
  • We will provide teal ties and scarves.

Rehearsals Following the Concert:

  • The regular season continues through Tuesday, May 10th with various educational activities including audition preparation (solo & sight-reading), team building activities, leadership development and FUN!  Tuesday, May 10th will be the official CoroRio member audition day (for those who wish to be considered for a different choir- signups for that coming soon.) Please keep our regular rehearsal time on your calendar as these activities are all an important part of developing each choir and the program as a whole.

Auditions for Next Season:

  • Audition signups for next season will be published soon! Students do not have to audition if they would like to return to the same choir in which they are currently a member.  Students will audition on May 10th if they would like to be considered for membership in a different choir.  Choir placements are based on skill and experience, not on age or grade.  However, it generally works out that Corriente accepts students in grades 4-7, Arroyo accepts students in grades 6-11, Fuente accepts students starting with the male voice change, Rio accepts high school aged students who are able to sight-read and have significant prior singing experience.
