As part of our national anthem performance for the Riverkings on February 25th, the Maddox Foundation is partnering with the Riverkings to offer a VERY generous fundraiser to CoroRio students again this year!
If CoroRio members collectively sell at least 200 tickets, each student who sells 4 tickets or more receives $5 per ticket sold, plus $5 per ticket redeemed at the door, for a total of up to $10 profit per ticket sold.
Since we have over 170 members, this should be a very attainable goal.(For 100-199 tickets sold, each participant who sells 4 tickets or more receives $2.50 per ticket purchased and $2.50 per ticket redeemed for a total of $5 profit per ticket sold.)
There is no limit to the number of tickets you can sell. The very cheapest tickets available are in the green section (farthest from the ice) and are sold at the walk up price of $8 each. If you participate in the fundraiser, you are actually getting premium Gold Level seating (center ice/lower level/closer to the glass) for $6, since $10 would be returned to your Charms account. Students can pre-sell tickets using the form provided through February 14th. Checks should be payable to the Riverkings. We also accept cash but please be aware that we do not keep change on hand. No fundraising tickets will be sold after February 14th.
The tickets will be handed out during rehearsal on February 21st.
Additional tickets needed after the deadline will have to be purchased at the Riverkings ticket office and may not be in the same section as our group.
All students are expected to attend this important performance. CoroRio is still a relatively young organization and there are many in the community who are still unaware that we exist. This is a great public relations opportunity as well as a fantastic fundraiser to help offset the cost of tuition or any other CoroRio related expenses! If the cost of a ticket is a financial burden to your family that would keep you from attending, please contact Mrs. Norris for assistance.
Families are not required to purchase the $16 Premium fundraising seats.
$8 walk-up seats are available for purchase through the ticket office if you prefer to not participate in the fundraiser.
Details for Saturday, February 25th:
1) Every student must purchase a ticket and have it in hand when we meet. (Parents can go on in to their seat while we line up. Students will need to have their tickets scanned when we come through as a group.)
2) Wear concert attire (All black with teal scarves/ties)
3) Arrive at the Landers Center and report to the theatre lobby (main entrance by the flags) around 6:15 pm (exact time TBD).
4) Leave personal items with a parent (keep your ticket with you!)
5) Parents can sit in their seats for the national anthem. After we sing, you can meet us at the top of Section 101.
